PAN!C Map 2015 - Do Artists Go On Holiday?

2015 PAN!C Map on Residency spaces and Opportunities across the African continent.

The 2015 PAN!C map is a culmination of research done by artist Megan Mace which had it's point of departure during a 3-month long residency at VANSA in 2014.

The map includes 23 spaces across the African continent, as part of a survey on residency opportunities for artists and art practitioners across the board. The map acts as a tool that provides minimal information on what to expect when planning to go on a residency on the various settings on the African continent.

The Map was launched at VANSA on Monday 7 September 2015 as part of Projecting the Project: The Contribution of Contemporary Art Production on the Continent with speakers Marilyn Douala-Bell and Misheck Masamvu, facilitated by Yvette Mutumbwa.

You can download the PAN!C 2015 Map here or collect one at the VANSA office or centre d'Art picha in Lubumbashi
