Cheryl Hull

Cheryl has been working in an administrative capacity most of her career which spans a little over 30 years. Initially it was in the creative industries ie sales promotion, below the line, industrial theatre and public relations in London and New York. She returned to JHB in 1992 and worked for financial organisations acquiring a Business Management Diploma in 2003. After moving to Cape Town in 2004 she co-partnered a niche packaging business in Cape Town for several years before joining VANSA Western Cape as Administrator in 2010. She lives in the Southern Suburbs with her two teenage children.

Hope joined VANSA WESTERN CAPE in 2009, on the back of working for the Cape Town Film commission’s Runway Film Resource Centre and various other non-profit organisations, bringing substantial experience in working with networking organisations. Initially brought into the organisation through our internship programme, she was appointed to a permanent position coordinating Marketing and Communications for the Western Cape office. She is also learning the art of curatorship through ongoing mentorship in the context of the VANSA Spin Space gallery.
