Joachim Schönfeldt at Parking Gallery - 9 October 2013

The Guilds and Unions Film

9 - 29 October 2013

Wed 9 October: The Guilds and Unions Film
The evening starts at 7pm

A film on craftsmen and machines will start the three week long exhibition by Joachim Schönfeldt on Wednesday 9 October at the Parking Gallery. Another two segments will be added to the exhibition in the following weeks.

The following Wednesday, 16 October, a component called ‘the tree feller’ will be added to the existing show. On the last Wednesday, 23 October a section called ‘the three ships’ will complete the body of work.

These activities on the three Wednesdays will follow Parking Gallery’s gospel of engagement. The show ‘the guilds and union film’ wishes to explore various aspects around craftsmen in terms of headspace, structure, sight and smells and the social world around them.

Solms Astor wines will be served on the opening night and Three Ships Whisky at the last event on the 23rd of October. All Welcome.
