We are looking for an open-minded, bead loving, innovative somebody who wants to work with us. We need administrative and research assistance, as well as interest in curatorial work for an end of year exhibition.

Job Description

  • Position: Intern
  • Organisation: Heart leads the way
  • Location: eThekwini
  • Compensation: Between R4000 and R4500 thousand depending on skills and experience.
  • Duration: 10 months, Feb 2018 – December 2018
  • Time requirements: 2 days a week, possibility of 3rd day in busy periods

Responsibilities

  • Creative Industrial Management & Administration. This includes financial and administrative tasks encountered in everyday creative business
  • Online retail management.
  • Working with beaders to conceptualise, design and produce beaded items
  • End – to – end completion of a bead art exhibition featuring works produced by HLTW and other contemporary bead artists in KZN.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and production partners.
