Marketing Coordinator Vacancy at UJ Arts & Culture

UJ Arts and Culture seeks to appoint an experienced Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for communications, audience development, public relations and publicity, and coordination of marketing efforts, including the responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and execute proactive marketing and public relations strategies for UJ Arts & Culture.
  • Steward and engage key media relationships.
  • Manage marketing related enquiries for the public, external clients, UJ staff and students, artists and funders.
  • Manage UJ Arts & Culture’s social media platforms.
  • Oversee alignment of marketing collateral with the UJ brand identity.
  • Coordinate internal communications in line with University’s strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in arts marketing, PR, publicity and communications.
  • Minimum 3 years proven ability in management.
  • Minimum 2 years fundraising experience.
  • Audience engagement and/or audience development experience.

Recommendations:

  • Marketing certificate or diploma.
  • A qualification with an arts specialisation.
