We are just around the corner from Arts on Main and are looking for Arty tenants to fill the space-photographers, film makers, fabric designers or the like. Creating a vibe for customers to come and order great South African products.

Assemblage is pleased to announce its plans to open an artist run centre and studios in Braamfontein or Newtown, Johannesburg. The Assemblage Studios will be a space run by artists for artists and will offer studio spaces and support facilities for artists.
Sober & Lonely Institute for Contemporary Art is sending out an open call for artists, writers, curators (etc) to participate in a one day residency programme in Johannesburg this Summer. Applicants will have access to the residency house for 24 hours and are encouraged to create an event or artwork during their stay.
OurSpace is a free, prototype, creative community centre. For the month of August, it is open to friends and residents of Maboneng and will facilitate a number of events and projects simultaneously.
