Following on from our successful Prints on Paper Workshop Marathon held at the end of 2015 we will be hosting a further series of workshops in February 2016.
Intaglio Studio is a community based printmaking studio in Observatory in the Bijou Building. We run classes for adult education, specialising in the techniques of intaglio etching and also publish works for artists.

Prints on Paper will be hosting an exciting Printmaking Workshop Marathon in Johannesburg in November and December 2015. The programme includes silkscreen, sketchbook making, linocut, monotype, subtractive silkscreen and textile dying workshops.
As part of SAHA’s current Struggle T-shirt Project, Frances Andrew will be presenting a seminar and practical research workshop which aims to consider the visual vocabulary of the liberation struggle in South Africa, as expressed in protest t-shirts archived at SAHA, in order to explore the ways this vocabulary can inform contemporary, socially engaged South African design.
