In the reductive-woodcut workshop an image is simplified to the essential tones. To do so the participant will carve and print one woodblock successively to represent the identified tones.

The thirteenth edition of the Dak'Art Biennial of Contemporary African Art will take place in May and June 2018 in Dakar, Senegal. Following the installation of the Steering Committee, the call for nominations was launched for the selection of artists to take part in the Biennale.
