Assemblage: Book Binding Workshop

Due to popular demand Sarah Spring will be presenting a second book binding Workshop on Sat 10 September 2011. The aim of this workshop will be to teach the art of book binding. Although this workshop is aimed at the novice, all levels of competency are welcome.

NDU scholarships for the master's degree in Interior Design

In cooperation with Vienna-based newspaper "Die Presse", the Economic Chamber of Lower Austria grants one full-ride-scholarship and one half-ride-scholarship for NDU's master's degree course in Interior Design & 3-D-Design with a total value of 21,000 EUR.—Applications must be submitted by 8th September.

Sotheby's Institute of Art: Six-week Online Courses

Now you can access Sotheby's Institute of Art's curriculum Online. All you need is a computer with access to the Internet and a web browser. Our Online courses are fully interactive and give students access to lectures, texts, images and videos, in a discussion-driven seminar format. Online classes at Sotheby's Institute of Art – New York are six weeks in length with sessions starting on September 19 and November 7, 2011. All courses are 1485 USD per course.

 Residency and Exhibition program at AIR/HMC-Budapest in Hungary

The Hungarian Multicultural Center, Inc.® (HMC), 501(c)(3), Dallas, TX/Budapest, Hungary based non-profit organization. The HMC invites interested visual artists, writers, performers to submit application for its residency program in Budapest, Hungary. The residencies offer participants to interact with other artists representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Accepted applicants are expected to speak and understand English. The residence offers shared room/bath as living quarters. Room, workshop, exhibition, seminar, artist talk, field trip and gallery tour are included in the cost.

Invitation to Tender: Isimangaliso Art Programme

The Isimangaliso Wetland Park Authority has received a grant from the National Lottery Distribution Fund (NLDTF) to implement a 3-year Art Programme. Isimangaliso therefore invites experienced sculptors, printmakers, painters, photographers, contemporary media artists and art business and life skills service providers to submit a proposal to conduct mentoring sessions and skills transfer for artists in the iSimangaliso Art Programme.
