Centre for the Creative Arts of Africa - Chair

The Chair in the Creative Arts of Africa would provide leadership for academics within and affiliated to the Centre and would co-ordinate research projects initiated in consultation with them. Interested applicants should have excellent undergraduate and graduate records in art with an African focus. Closing Date: 15 April 2011.


As part of VANSA’S 2010 reasons to live in a small town, Bianca Baldi joined by an esteemed panel including Themba Shibase and chaired by DUT Art Gallery Curator Nathi Gumede. Baldi will give a talk on a site specific project which she has been researching. The project is called Natal Patria.
