We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2024 David Koloane Award.

The award is open to young career, South African, contemporary visual artists, aged 21-35 who are not represented by a commercial gallery.

Artists working in the fields of painting, drawing, printmaking, lens-based and performance-based art are invited to apply by Tuesday, 23 April 2024 (23:59 SAST).

This incredible opportunity is made possible this year with support from the National Arts Council, Republic of South Africa and Bag Factory Artists Studios.
