Edladleni Art Gallery, in collaboration with the South African Embassy in Brasilia and the Chamber of Commerce, invites exceptional South African artists to submit their finest works for “Colours of Affinity”—a prestigious exhibition celebrating the artistic and cultural connections between South Africa and Brazil.

This carefully curated showcase will first launch as a virtual exhibition, leading to an exclusive in-person presentation in São Paulo, Brazil, in August 2025, before an audience of serious collectors and cultural connoisseurs.

Submission Requirements

We seek high-caliber artworks that reflect the vibrancy and essence of South African culture through the following themes:

Colour – Bold, expressive palettes that evoke emotion and identity.

Dance & Movement – The rhythm of our heritage, embodied in visual form.

Architecture & Settlements – Artistic interpretations of spaces that define us.

This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase South African artistry on an international stage, forging new cultural and economic ties. Only works that align with these themes will be considered.
