North West University (NWU) is advertising a position for a curator for the NWU Gallery and university collection. The purpose of the position of the NWU Art Gallery Curator at the North-West University is to oversee and manage the University’s permanent art collection. The position is responsible for acquiring, preserving, and displaying artwork.

The Curator plays a vital role in organising art exhibitions and events, both on- and off-campus. Additionally, the Curator may collaborate with Faculty staff and students to incorporate art into the academic curriculum and provide educational opportunities related to the collection. The successful incumbent will be required to work on weekends when necessary.
