Opportunity Description

Julie Miller Investment Art Institute in the Mall of Africa is offering an opportunity to learn and grow as part of a small passionate team. Our ideal candidate is a driven, self-motivated, pro-active individual who enjoys talking to clients and delivering service excellence.

Roles and responsibilities (in order of priority)

  • The successful candidate will be dynamic, presentable, mature and have a strong work ethic. A keen interest in, and knowledge of contemporary art and the industry is a must. Strong communication and administration skills are essential.

Main tasks include opening and closing the gallery, receiving visitors and conducting sales, assisting with the smooth running of the gallery, and sourcing of art and design pieces. Such tasks require good organizational ability to work well under pressure and an independence that does not prevent working well within a team.

Requirements: Sales experience, timeliness, fluent English and computer literacy.

Working days: Weekends Only.

Start date: As soon as possible.
