We are looking for a marketing coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Johannesburg office. The position would suit a candidate with a deep interest in marketing and brand management, who is both structured and creative as well as assertive, with a strong technology orientation, eye for detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Experience in the art economy will be an advantage.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and manage PR and marketing campaigns
- Manage the execution of client touch points at Strauss & Co auctions and events
- Participate in the creation and coordination of unique lead generating content, contributing to driving sales and building the Strauss & Co brand.
- Distribute impactful marketing content to generate new leads, drive unique website visits or auction and event attendances
- Key coordinator and communicator between internal and external role players
- Coordinate marketing related suppliers and partners
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional material
- Organise promotional activities for new products/services
- Create clear product marketing copy
Requirements:
- Tertiary marketing degree or diploma preferable
- Brand and marketing management skills
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of digital marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Content creation expertise
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Knowledge of website management (WordPress)
