The upcoming Cape Town Arts Festival (CTAF) is pleased to invite contemporary visual artists across the African continent to submit their artworks for consideration and inclusion in the group exhibition titled: ‘ Hope and Peace for Africa’.

We would like artists to consider and respond to this important theme which informs the focus of the exhibition activation in 2022, and the main CTAF festival and related events in March 2023.

Artists working in community and rural contexts are especially welcomed to apply by no later than 30th September 2022.

The Cape Town Arts Festival also invites early-to-mid-career curators in visual art and performance to apply for placement on our 2022 Pan African group exhibition.

Curators should apply by no later than 30th September 2022. Female curators and curators of colour are especially encouraged to apply.
