Requirements
Diploma/NQF level 6 in Professional Photography or related field.
2-3 years of experience as a studio photographer, and
Experience with digital photography.

Primary Function
Produce digital images of the directorate heritage collections as well as exhibitions, events for heritage asset management, database (collection management system) and digital images library (Digital and publicity and to meet public demand).

Key Performance Areas:
Make digital images of the objects and pictures in the heritage collections. Create digital images of the heritage collections as required by external clients. Make museum exhibitions events activities. Assist with sound operational management of the digital image studio.

Leading Competencies:
Knowledge of image editing software.

Core Competencies:
Understanding the essence of documentation and event photography for publication and exhibition as well as for digital photography. Specific professional photographic skills required.
