Introduction
The Mall of Africa is looking to support the arts. As a super-regional Mall, the Mall of Africa is perfectly situated to create a new super-hub for the African creative industry in the Gauteng region, thereby becoming a Patron of the Arts. As such, the Mall of Africa will be launching an ongoing series of four exhibitions per year, one for each season.
The launch will take place on 5 April 2018 with the opening of the 2018 Autumn Fair, and will run for 4 weeks.
The month-long event is organised and managed by Julie Miller Investment Art Institute, and we require sales assistants to be on duty for the duration of the exhibition.
Roles and responsibilities
- Assist with installation and de-installation of works of art.
- Provide information regarding works of art to interested clients.
- Assist clients and follow up on queries.
- Issue invoices and take credit card payments from clients for works of art.
- Package sold works of art.
- Provide reports on client responses to works of art.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of contemporary art.
