SMAC is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team on a part-time or full-time basis. This position requires an aptitude for research, writing and communication. The successful candidate should have a well-informed understanding of contemporary artistic practice.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Curatorial research for new projects, publications and applications
• Assisting with the galleries’ exhibition and fair programme
• Artist liaison – managing the gallery’s relationships with represented artists
• Compiling and maintaining artist biographies, CV’s and other texts
• Assisting with exhibitions and other projects
• Assisting with exhibition openings

Working Hours: Minimum of a three-day week, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Salary: Dependent on experience
