Spread is new! Associated with the South African Media House, Soul Candi, Spread sources, curates and sells international contemporary art pieces and urban toys within the South African art scene. They’re opening both a physical gallery and online gallery, and are looking for a curator as they start to build the brand.

The role of the Art Curator is to take charge of the existing collection, support the business to build and grow the collection, and importantly dedicate time to actively find the right buyers to sell the art to. Building relationships with the right people which includes other institutions, artists, collectors & local South African Influencers is critical to ensure awareness and consistent sales. This individual is expected to organise the displays and of the art collection and ensuring that the gallery is kept in pristine condition for potential buyers at any point in time. Furthermore, this role is expected to the support the business to source, negotiate and attain the desired art pieces to grow the collection.
