Opportunity Description

Contemporary visual artist Ayobola Kekere-Ekun is currently seeking part-time studio assistants in Johannesburg. Studio assistants would be expected to work three days a week. If desired, the position holds room for growth into a broader role.

A typical workday consists of six hours (10 am – 4 pm). Remuneration is R100/hour.

Applicants with some form of experience in art-making will be prioritised. Applicants must be detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

Duties of a Studio Assistant include:

  • Administrative tasks
  • Research
  • Artistic production
